There have been times when this blog has gone dormant for a stretch and that’s mostly been due to my own inability to organize my thoughts in a way coherent enough to present to the rest of the world. This is different.
My Kid The Mid will engage in what the Navy terms an Operational Pause. The reason or reasons, for now at least, will remain classified, though I trust you know I would not do so lightly.. This is not a stand down borne out of waning interest or desire. On the contrary, I would like you to know that I have so much I want to continue to share with my Navy family and intend to keep doing so in hopes that I can help current USNA families in some small way. And I’ll continue to jump in on social media here and there.
Since you all joined me on this journey, I have tried to share the highs and the lows and be true to my emotions. Once I lift this Operational Pause, I promise to continue to do just that. I appreciate all the support you’ve given me and this project for the past several years and I hope that when I come out the other side of this, you’ll continue to do the same.
