My Mid Sib got the coolest bracelet

My Mid Sib rarely talks about missing her brother, though we all know she does. So when an Amazon envelope showed up a week or so ago and I opened it, I was more than a little surprised. I found this bracelet:

She’s not a tomboy, but she’s not much on jewelry and rarely wears a bracelet. So why this one? Well, the anchor is a dead giveaway about what attracted her, but then I noticed the infinity symbol entwined with “love” as well. Finally, I noticed the last band which says, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

When I asked her about it, she was kind of embarrassed, I guess. Then I pointed ou tthat the “where there’s a will” thing was similar to the Class of 2020’s motto which, roughly translated, means, “if we cannot find a way, we will make a way.”

Her eyes widened and she said, “Really? That’s so cool!”

I’m elated that she’s so connected to her brother, even though it’s subtle to the eye. My biggest concern now is our next visit to The Yard and the damage she might inflict when we visit the Mid Store.

By the way, the bracelet is only about $7 on Amazon and you can buy it here.
